When I began writing for BlogchatterA2Z, I was a little uncertain about the themes. Would anyone read my thoughts? Were these topics too common or already written about? And most importantly, would I be able to finish all the blogs on time—while working full time and being a full-time mom to a 17-month-old little girl? So many uncertainties were looming in my head.
Honestly, I was also afraid I wouldn’t be able to come up with ideas consistently. What if I hit a writing or reading slump? The self-doubt was never-ending.
But I started anyway.
As I began posting and reading other participants’ blogs in the series, I slowly gained confidence. It pushed me to write more and give voice to my inner monologue. And I kept going. Poems, book reviews, thoughts on reading, reflections on books, short stories—everything slowly found its way onto my laptop screen.
This is my first time writing for this series, and I know I still have a lot to improve. But that’s the point of learning, isn’t it?
Even though life was busy and my family needed me just as much, I continued writing—little by little, whenever I could find the time.
I can only thank the Blogchatter team and all the fellow bloggers who were part of this journey. Reading others’ work was just as inspiring as writing my own.
