It doesn’t always come loudly.
Sometimes, it sits quietly—just enough to make you pause.
Sometimes it protects you.
Sometimes it stops you.
And the difficult part is knowing the difference.
There are fears we understand.
And then there are those we can’t explain.
The “what ifs.”
The overthinking.
The hesitation before doing something you actually want to do.
I’ve noticed this—
Fear doesn’t always go away when you wait.
Sometimes, it grows.
Not because it is strong,
but because we give it more time than needed.
And yet, I don’t think fear is the enemy.
It’s just… a signal.
A sign that something matters.
That something is uncertain.
That something is new.
Maybe the goal is not to eliminate fear.
But to learn to move… with it.
A little slower.
A little unsure.
But still moving.
Some days I manage that well.
Some days I don’t.
And maybe that’s okay too.
Let me know what you think of fear.
